Johannes Skoog is the winner of First Prize and the Bach Prize at the 2024 Canadian International Organ Competition.
Johannes holds degrees from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, the Conservatoire de Paris and the Staatliche Musikhochschule in Stuttgart. His teachers include Olivier Latry, Nathan Laube, Louis Robilliard, Michel Bouvard, Thierry Escaich and Mathias Kjellgren. He has spent five years at the cathedral of Vasteras as Associate Organist, and is currently teaching organ interpretation at the Lilla Akademien in Stockholm.
